Portugal and Kuwait Strengthen Diplomatic and Economic Relations

António Mira participated in the celebration of the 64th Kuwait National Day and the 34th Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait, hosted by His Excellency Hamad Alhazeem, Ambassador of Kuwait to Portugal.

The event highlighted Kuwait’s history and the deepening relationship between Portugal and Kuwait. A recent business mission to Kuwait, led by Nuno Anahory and organized by the Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Árabe-Portuguesa, demonstrated the increasing interest in strengthening economic ties.

Ambassador Hamad Alhazeem and the Embassy of Kuwait in Portugal were recognized for their ongoing efforts to foster bilateral relations. Strengthening cooperation between the business communities of both countries remains a priority.
